Pilsen aims at winning the prestigious title “European Capital of Culture 2015”. But the mere winning of the title and the historically unique and rich cultural programme that will possibly bring success in the competition in 2015 are not the only objectives in the development plans of the town. On its way to the title, Pilsen wants to transform considerably, to enrich the life of its citizens, and to enthuse visitors.

The projects the implementation of which is being prepared within the candidature process (see the “Investments” section) will make of Pilsen a representative, pleasant place - the future Capital of Culture.
