Help cities to fully unleash the economic potential of the cultural sector, EUROCITIES tells Commission and EU Member States.
Ahead of the European Spring Council (Brussels, 8-9 March), EUROCITIES calls on the European Commission and national governments throughout the EU to support more effectively the contribution of cultural and creative industries to the Lisbon growth and jobs objectives. The cultural sector is currently flourishing in many European cities, where local authorities have played a key role in supporting its development.
